Pre-engineering of your packaging line

Concept design

A concept design provides a better understanding of the operation and optimal setup of your packaging line.

Conceptualization is always the first step in developing a new industrial packaging line.

We begin by mapping out your requirements and preferences for the packaging process. Our engineers translate these needs into an initial concept design.

In close consultation, we fine-tune the design until everything is perfectly aligned. At the end of the process, we achieve a comprehensive packaging solution that meets all your needs and specifications.

Engineering

Success comes with meticulous planning and strong detailed engineering. These factors make the difference and ensure faster, better, and easier operations.

Detail engineering in machinery is a critical phase. After conceptualization, it is crucial to create a solid plan. Developing each component, which will later form a robust total solution, requires knowledge and attention to detail. This phase dives into every possible specification that can make a difference. During this step, we ensure a structural design, material selection, integration of electrical and mechanical systems, and safety considerations.

Engineers carefully analyze factors such as load capacity and tolerances to ensure optimal performance and a long machine lifespan. Additionally, detailed engineering includes creating extensive documentation, such as blueprints, assembly instructions, and bills of materials. This documentation serves as a guide for manufacturing, assembly, and quality control, ensuring the final product meets precise specifications. In general, detailed engineering is the foundation for building a successful machine that meets the highest standards for functionality, safety, and reliability.

Build and Test

Assembly and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) ensure quality and functionality. Once completed, you can be sure of a successful result.

Assembly involves the physical construction and integration of the various components, subsystems, and modules of the machine. Our skilled technicians and engineers carefully assemble the parts into a cohesive and operational unit. This phase requires precision, as even the smallest error can have significant negative effects on the performance of the packaging line.

After assembly, the machine undergoes ‘Factory Acceptance Testing’ or FAT. This is an extensive evaluation conducted in the controlled environment of the manufacturing facility. During FAT, the machine is subjected to a series of rigorous tests and simulations that mimic real-world working conditions. This allows us to verify critical parameters such as speed, accuracy, load capacity, safety features, and adherence to the original design specifications. Any deviations or issues that arise during the FAT process are addressed before the machine is shipped to your location.

Installation

Our engineers and technicians ensure precise installation for optimal performance.

The physical installation of the packaging line at the final location requires experienced technicians and engineers. They ensure that the machine is properly positioned, precisely aligned, and securely anchored. Additionally, electrical connections, plumbing, and all required peripheral equipment must be integrated.

Commissioning

Testing, adjustment, and fine-tuning to bring the line into operation.

Commissioning marks the transition from a physically assembled unit to a fully operational machine. It includes a comprehensive series of activities and tests to ensure that all components, systems, and functionalities of the machine work in harmony and meet the specified performance criteria.

Skilled technicians and engineers carefully fine-tune settings, calibrate sensors, and check interconnections to optimize performance. Additionally, a series of controlled tests are conducted under various operating conditions to validate the machine’s capabilities and reliability.

This phase is also crucial for identifying and correcting minor issues or discrepancies that may occur during the initial operation. A successful commissioning confirms that the machine is ready for full production!

Production and support

Handover

Final tests under real operational conditions at the production site.

After commissioning, the machine undergoes ‘Site Acceptance Testing’ (SAT). During this SAT phase, the machine is subjected to a series of tests and inspections in the actual operational environment for which it was designed.

This includes verifying performance parameters, safety features, and compliance with local regulations and standards. SAT serves as the final validation that the machine meets all specified requirements and can function effectively in its intended location.

Ultimately, installation and SAT bridge the gap between the controlled environment of the manufacturing facility and the real-world conditions at the operational site. This phase ensures that the machine not only performs as intended but also integrates seamlessly into existing processes, delivering the expected performance, efficiency, and reliability.
